A talk on black grouse will be held at a Perthshire nature reserve later this month.
Claire Smith from RSPB Scotland will speak on the Perthshire black grouse at the Loch of the Lowes visitor centre near Dunkeld at 7pm on Thursday, January 24.
Over the years there has been a national decline in the population of black grouse - however despite this, the species has bounced back in Perthshire and the area has now become a breeding stronghold.
Claire will speak on how people can get involved in the conservation of this species.
