Almost £5k raised to aid homeless animals
Pets at Home in Perth held a fundraiser to help homeless animals and with customer donations, raised £4800 for charities.
Locally the Perth Abandoned Dogs Society (PADS) will benefit from the generosity of shoppers at the Perth branch, as will Support Adoption for Pets, a bigger organisation.

Winston doesn’t need adopting, he belongs to the store manager Gareth Grinley.
Across the UK, Pets At Home helped raise a staggering total of £1,704,362 for the Support Adoption For Pets annual‘Santa Paws’appeal, launched on November 23.
The big total - to which Perth added £4,843.50 - provided more than three million dinners for homeless pets at Christmas.
Customers shopping in the pet store were given the opportunity to donate 50p to help provide a dinner for pets spending Christmas in a rescue centre.
Gareth Grinley, Perth’s store manager, thanked everyone involved and said: “It’s great to know that this money will also go towards helping these charities to keep abandoned pets healthy and happy until they find a permanent home.”
