Plans are in place for more houses
Meeting will take place
this event shall be held in a venue in the vicinity of the proposed site and be easily accessible to all.
“The event will run from early afternoon to early evening to ensure that a variety of times are available for the public to drop by.
“The event will be advertised as required by notices in the press approximately two weeks prior to the consultation event.
“At the drop in event Springfield representatives will be available to further discuss the proposals with any locally elected members, local residents, members of the community council or local community groups who would wish to attend the exhibition.
“In undertaking the events, we will set up a register of interested parties and will maintain contact with them throughout the process.
“We will also liaise with the venue to advertise the event on a suitable public forum.”
The planning notice was also sent to all four Kinrossshire councillors, Milnathort Community Council, Roseanna Cunningham, MSP for Perthshire South and Kinross-shire, and Luke Graham, MP for Ochil and South Perthshire.
A response from the council to developers said: “I am pleased that you have consulted the local ward councillors and the respective community council. Should the public event be well attended I would also recommend that a follow-up public event be organised. This is a key part of the community consultation process.”
The public consultation will now take place from 1pm until 7pm on Thursday, January 24 in Orwell Parish Church.
