Winter words event is back
Liz Lochhead and Steve Kettley will appear in Pitlochry next month Pitlochry Festival Theatre has revealed details of who to expect at the Winter Words Festival next month.
The theatre’s fortnight of literary talks from a range of authors, artists and personalities is on with 30 events between 2-17 February.
Liz Lochhead, former National Poet of Scotland and recipient of the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry, is making a return.
Liz teams up with Steve Kettley, composer and musician, of longstanding quartet, Steve Kettley’s Odd Times, to create Something Old, Something New – a fusion of bittersweet, polemical, comical, in-character monologues, theatre pieces and performance poems with bluesy, soulful and playful saxophone backing.
The 15th Winter Words Festival brings together talks, book fairs, book signings, literary lunches, music and more - there’s something for everyone to help wake up from winter.
