Unpaid work for making torch threat
A Perthshire man, convicted of threatening to torch his former partner’s house, was spared jail when he appeared for sentence.
As a“direct alternative,”32-yearold Alexander Allan, of Kinloch Court, Myrtle Park, Blairgowrie, will have to complete 140 hours of unpaid work within the next six months.
A first offender, he will also be supervised by a social worker for a year.
He was found guilty after trial at Perth Sheriff Court of entering a house in Orchard Way, Inchture, uninvited on September 16, 2018, refusing to leave, shouting and swearing at his former partner Raokshna Rae - and threatening to burn her house down.
