KETTINS PARISH COMMUNITY SUPPORT BREADALBANE COMMUNITY LARDER
Local churches, realising there would be an increased need to support people struggling with the financial impact of COVID-19, have set up a community larder to provide basic food supplies.
The larder is operating out of the Breathe Lounge in Aberfeldy but serves the wider Breadalbane area from Kenmore to Grandtully and northwards to Glen Lyon. Volunteers deliver food direct to your door.
Those who might otherwise manage but are now finding it a real struggle to make ends meet, can seek support via the council support line on 0345 30 11 100 or contact us direct on 07513 652597.
COVID 19 FELDY SUPPORT
Covid 19 Feldy Support is what used to be called Tay Valley Timebank, The Birks Cinema Trust, and Upper Tay Transport Group.
You’re in lockdown in Highland Perthshire. What do you need? We’ll see to it.
We’ve over 70 volunteers who’ll shop for you, get your prescriptions, cut your grass (but not your hair – yet), walk your dog or buddy you for anything you need. From Glenlyon to Grandtully and centred in Aberfeldy, we’re up for whatever you need, all at arms length of course.
And we’re there for a blether on the phone if you need one.
There’s a phone hub 07507479555 which is manned every day from 9am till 5pm and an out of hours answerphone.
FONAB FARM FOODS
We have a team of volunteers available to help you with small tasks during the current situation, maybe a little shopping, prescription collections or even some small outdoor chores such as putting your bins out and in, light garden work or dog walking.
You may just want to have a chat with someone.
Please be aware our volunteers will not undertake any indoor tasks or enter any houses.
To get in touch call this dedicated number 01796 475333.
