Jane takes on‘mum’role to six-week old lamb 5Alive

Lockdown is bringing Perthshire people together in tight family units but some are a little bit different.

Jane Calder, who is from Braes of Grandtully Farm near Grandtully village, has a four-legged companion to take care of - 5Alive the lamb.

Jane has been looking after the cute six-week-old lamb because the lamb’s mother could not produce enough milk.

Jane decided to help feed her, but now 5Alive thinks she’s mum and follows her everywhere she goes.

Perthshire Advertiser photographer Richard Wilkins chanced upon the odd couple practicing a bit of social distancing.

They were recently pictured while waiting to shop in the Strathtay Spar in Grandtully.
