Perth Theatre is all wrapped up
Perth Theatre was dressed in hope this week despite the pain of the coronavirus pandemic.
The theatre has been closed during lockdown, while the future remains uncertain.
But on Monday night a team from the theatre decided to spread some cheer after a weekend during which the governments in Edinburgh and London pledged financial support for the arts.
As part of the Scenechange movement, the building was wrapped in Live Theatre Matters tape.
Scenechange said:“Whilst we navigate a way back to live performance we continue missing live theatre to bring joy and colour to theatres across the UK and Ireland to celebrate these incredible buildings, and the key role they play within their communities.
“We welcome the government investment and see this as a key moment for the industry, a time to renew and reset, build a stronger future for all and safeguard the sector for future generations.”
