Key players extend stay

-

East of Scotland Football League club Kinnoull have extended the contracts of two key stars from last term.

Adam Frydrychowicz, a tough-tackling defender who was recently named player of the season, was quick to commit his future to Tulloch Park.

A club spokesperson said:“Adam was a standout performer at the heart of the defence last season and we are delighted he has committed for the coming season.”

Fellow defender Benn Blyth, previously of Letham amateurs, has also agreed to remain with the Perth club after an impressive season.

He has committed his services to Kinnoull for the next two seasons, having produced a“string of brilliant displays”across the past 12 months.

The extension follows on from numerous team-mates penning new deals, as well as the signings of Darren Gray and Andrew Mackenzie from Scone Thistle.

No official date has been confirmed for the season’s return following the COVID-19 outbreak, although a recent update from the Pyramid Restart Group noted:“We are hoping to restart training in August and playing from [the] last Saturday in September or first Saturday in October.

“These are only indicative dates for now, they will be confirmed or otherwise in line with Scottish Government/Scottish FA instructions.”
