Raising a glass to distillery’s return

Whisky lovers are getting set to toast the return of a Highland Perthshire distillery when it reopens to the public next week.

Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery will open its doors on Monday, July 20 with new health and safety measures in place.

New social distancing measures and zones will be in place to allow visitors to relax and raise a dram with one of the local whiskies.

Pre-booking tours and visits have been made essential and, until further notice, temperatur­e checks and the wearing of face masks will be required at the Aberfeldy distillery.

The interactiv­e heritage museum will also reopen, but with a reduced capacity.

Limited has announced that its British distillery experience­s will reopen to the public on Monday, July 20 with adapted health and safety measures in place in line with the current situation in the UK.

“As lockdown restrictio­ns begin to ease across the nation, the family-owned spirits company will open the doors to its beautiful distillery for the first time in four months.

“The iconic Dewar’s Distillery in Aberfeldy, Perthshire is ready to welcome guests back for a socially-distanced experience.

“Located in one of the most idyllic settings in the UK, the destinatio­n celebrates the individual culture and character of its region and offers a day trip experience like no other.”
