A dozen crews fought farm fire
A dozen fire crews were scrambled to Rosemount Farm near Blairgowire following a blaze at the weekend.
The alarm was raised at 10am on Saturday, with firefighters remaining on the scene for most of the day.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said damage was caused to an area measuring just under 165 square feet.
It is understood the fire destroyed palettes and agricultural machinery in a building on the edge of the farm near Parkhead Road.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said:“We were alerted at 10.04am on Saturday to reports of a large fire at a farm building near Parkhead Road, Blairgowrie.
“Operations control mobilised 12 appliances including support units to the scene.
“There were no reported casualties.” Police Scotland confirmed officers were at the scene to support fire crews and close off surrounding roads, including Welton Road and Coupar Angus Road.
The blaze was brought under control by about 1pm.
