A stunning picture taken at last year’s Enchanted Forest event in Pitlochry has won international praise for Comrie photographer David Cormack.
He was placed in the finals of the Down’s Syndrome Association’s (DSA)‘My Perspective’competition.
David, who lives in Comrie sent his magical image‘Full Moon? The Enchanted Forest’, into the competition, which attracts entries from all over the world.
The photograph of the giant moon - not the real thing but a
model made for the light spectacular in the Perthshire forest - was one of 25 shortlisted by judges.

The panel included actors Peter Davison and Emma Barton (both patrons of the DSA) and Dianne Buswell, one of Strictly Come Dancing’s professional dancers.
The competition judges considered David’s picture was “ethereal”,“imaginative”and “full of atmosphere”.
David, who has the genetic condition, confirmed he had got his inspiration from a stroll around the nighttime event designed to surprise and build on the beauty of the woodland at night.
