Road shut in bridge collision
A woman had to be taken to hospital following a two-car collision on a Perth bridge yesterday morning.
The incident happened on Queen’s Bridge at the junction with Tay Street at around 8.30am.
The road was closed temporarily for an hour-and-a-half to allow emergency services to operate at the scene.
The state of the woman’s condition is yet to be fully determined.
A police spokesperson said:“We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on Queen’s Bridge in Perth at the junction for Tay Street around 8.30am on Monday, December 14.
“One woman was taken to hospital and the road was reopened by 9.55am.”
