Stories from the Tay
Perthshire storyteller Lindsey Gibb will journey along the banks of the River Tay with a selection of stories on Thursday, December 17.
This is a live online event, promising to enchant those of any age.
A spokesperson for Culture Perth and Kinross, which is putting on the evening event, suggested: “Draw the curtains, get settled on the sofa, and hear tell of King Ruadh and the Witch, the Wild Man of Dunkeld, and other tales of theTay.”
Lindsey is the co-author of Perthshire Folk Tales and has performed at many festivals and events.
She particularly enjoys telling stories of place, invoking the sense and atmosphere of the people and land, and connecting with their communities.
The free event is being hosted on Zoom, an online meeting platform which has become well-known during times of COVID-19.
People wishing to join do not need to have a Zoom account. Once registered for the event on Eventbrite, they will be sent an email with the meeting ID and password, and an invitation link.
