Light nights on woodland trail

Tickets are available for a rainbow-lit woodland trail which will take place in Aberfeldy over three nights around Hogmanay.

A 400m path through the Lower Birks park in the Highland Perthshire town is getting ‘enchanted’with trees lit up by a professional display team.

Perthshire Sound and Light Hire is giving a new perspective to the public space located just to the side of Aberfeldy’s town square.

The trail is open from Wednesday, December 30 to Friday, January 1.

Tickets obtained from eventbrite allow entry to the light walk between 4.30pm and 10.30pm each day.

Donations are requested instead of an entry fee and one ticket allows entry to a family of up to five people.

For COVID-19 tracing precautions, local people and those from within Perth and Kinross need to have a date in mind when they apply for a ticket.
