Passing plans will only worsenthesituation

I have pointed out the idiocies of the Craigie Burn culvert sizes before and their contribution to flooding.

I saw the flooding/drainage articles in Friday 11/12/2020’s PA.

It was confirmed that there is no adequate defence against the extreme torrential rains and that the SUDS defences are also overwhelmed because the drains on which they depend are also overwhelmed, and that a wholesale revamp is being thought about.

I also learned that the planned 49 houses west of Cherrybank Gardens are to be allowed to proceed by councillors who meet soon.

In my opinion they are illiterate (they do nor read their own reports or do not understand them) and criminally stupid when they propose to pass plans which can only make the situation worse.
