In court over alleged break-in

A 42 year-old Perth man appeared in private at the Sheriff Court on Friday afternoon on five charges, including smashing his way into Willows coffee shop in the city centre and stealing £150.

William Thomas Gillilan made no plea and was remanded in custody for further inquiries.

He was represented by local lawyer David Holmes.

The alleged break-in took place in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.
