Xmas book

An author from Kinross has written a Christmas book, re-telling the famous poem The Night Before Christmas in Scots.

‘The Nicht Afore Christmas’by Irene McFarlane has been a must-have story for young children across Scotland in the lead up to Christmas Day.

Irene’s translation of the much-loved tale, originally penned by Clement Clarke Moore, captures all the excitement of a visit by St Nicolas, or as she calls him,‘Faither Yuletide’.
