Pitlochry fish and chips shop Plaice to Be always does a lot for charity and reminds customers this year will be no exception.

Despite there being no New Year’s Day street party in Pitlochry, Plaice to Be will continue to make January 1 its charity collection day.

The takeaway will be open from 1pm-5pm, with all money taken going to the local food bank, based at the Atholl Centre in Pitlochry.
