PopMaster 2020 title has Drew in a spin
A former Perthshire man proved himself to be a fountain of musical knowledge when he was crowned PopMaster Champion’s League winner 2020
Drew Tosh, who now lives in Manchester, scored 124 points in the
BBC Radio 2 final just before Christmas.
The PopMaster Champions League Final was played across two weeks and featured every contestant from the past year who scored a maximum 39 points – or 36 plus achieving the three in 10.
Drew said:“I’m actually most pleased to have won for friends of mine who, I didn’t realise, were listening in and rooting for me during the heats.
“I received lots of lovely messages beforehand which actually made me quite nervous, but it was a great early
Christmas present.
“It’s a real buzz on what is a difficult Christmas for so many people. I’m delighted.”
Drew will receive an engraved glass trophy plus a signed copy of the latest PopMaster quiz book.
