Funeral date for councillor
The private funeral of Cllr Henry Anderson will take place on Tuesday, January 12 in Bridge of Earn.
The Almond and Earn councillor passed away on Sunday, December 27.
Numbers at the funeral are restricted to 20 due to current Scottish Government restrictions in place to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
A video link to the service will be shared with family and friends.
Following the service at Dunbarney Church, a piper will lead Cllr Anderson on his final journey along the Wicks O’ Baiglie Road to Dunbarney Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
Locals wishing to watch this are asked by Cllr Anderson’s family to please respect COVID restrictions and stay safe.
His family has thanked everyone for all their love and thoughts during this difficult time.
