Roads closures for 10 days for work
Three slip roads at the A90 St Madoes flyover are to be closed with diversions put in place for 10 days to allow major resurfacing works.
The £555,000 improvements will involve renewing the road surface on the southbound on and off-slips and the northbound off-slip as well as upgrading road markings.
The project is programmed to start on Sunday, January 17 and is expected to take place over two weeks using 24-hour working.
No work is programmed to take place over the weekend and all improvements are expected to be completed by 6.30am on Friday, January 29.
The A90 St Madoes southbound on and off-slip roads will be closed and a single lane closure will be in place on the southbound A90 carriageway for five days from 7.30pm on Sunday, January 17 until 6.30am on Friday, January 22.
Motorists wishing to use the southbound on-slip will be diverted onto the northbound A90 via the Glencarse junction to the Glendoick interchange and onto the southbound A90.
Traffic looking to use the southbound off-slip will be diverted to the Kinfauns interchange and on to the northbound A90 to St Madoes.
The following week the A90 St Madoes northbound off-slip will be closed and a single lane closure will be in place on the A90 northbound carriageway across the slip road for five days from 7.30pm on Sunday, January 24 until 6.30am on Friday, January 29.
Traffic looking to use the northbound off-slip will be diverted into St Madoes via the Glencarse Junction.
