Child abuse pictures trial

A Perthshire pensioner is set to stand trial next month on a charge of downloading child abuse porn over a 10-year period.

Sixty-seven-year-old Ewan Macleod, of Kinnaird Bank, Main Street, Glenfarg, had his bail continued at Perth Sheriff Court.

He is alleged to have taken, or permitted to be taken, or made indecent photographs of children at his home between March 2, 2007, and December 2, 2017.

The trial was to have taken place in Dundee during a jury sitting the week beginning February 8 but has now been rescheduled for February 22.
