Pensioner admits driving charges
A 72-year-old man who drove a car in a potentially dangerous condition has been ordered to appear personally for sentence at Perth Sheriff Court next week.
George Robertson, of The Croft, Blairgowrie, will discover his fate on January 27.
He has already pled guilty by letter to using the vehicle on the A923 Coupar Angus-Blairgowrie road on May 29, 2020, without a test certificate.
A second charge of knowingly driving it in an unroadworthy condition in the face of obvious and potential dangers was also admitted.
The circumstances leading up to both charges will be given next Wednesday.
