Duo banned from town street
Two men have been banned from entering a street in Highland Perthshire following an alleged Christmas Day attack.
Appearing at Perth Sheriff Court were 28-year-old Khai Donnelly, of Bruce Crescent, Perth, and Derek Kennedy (36), of Jubilee Place, Pitlochry.
Kennedy, represented by lawyer Pauline Cullerton, denied butting Ryan Dow on the head at Walker Court, Pitlochry, on December 25 last year.
He is then said to have knocked him to the ground and repeatedly punched him to the head, to his injury.
Solicitor Linda Clark, for Donnelly, denied that he butted the same man on the head at Rie Achan Road, Pitlochry, the same day, knocking him to the ground.
It is then claimed he kicked Mr Dow on the head and stamped on his body, to his injury.
Two special bail conditions were imposed.
They have both been barred from the tourist town’s Tulloch Road and also from approaching or contacting Mr Dow.
Their trial was set for August 23, with an earlier hearing on August 5.
