Denies threats and golf club charge
A man has denied brandishing a golf club and making violent threats in Rattray.
Twenty-eight-year-old David Main, of Clunie Way, Stanley, will return to Perth Sheriff Court for trial on August 23.
An intermediate hearing was scheduled for August 5.
It is alleged that on January 4, 2021, at Davie Park Place, Rattray, he shouted and swore and acted in an aggressive manner.
He is also said to have brandished the club, made violent threats towards the two people and challenging one of them to a fight.
A third charge claims that Main had an offensive weapon in his possession.
Represented by lawyer Mike Tavendale, the accused was freed on bail, with a special condition banning him from having any contact with the two people.
