A Perth man, caught with heroin will be sentenced on April 9.

Perth Sheriff Court was told that a Drug Treatment and Testing Order (DTTO) assessment was being prepared for 31-year-old Gary Cummings that day.

The accused, of Newhouse Road, admitted having the class A drug in his possession at Perth’s Melville Street on May 5, 2020.

Lawyer Mike Tavendale said the DTTO report would tie in with his client’s earliest release date from Perth Prison.

He admitted previous convictions.
