RORY SHOWS TRUE GRIT IN CYCLO-CROSS CHAMPS
Perth cyclo-cross racer Rory McGuire battled through unique conditions at the weekend’s world pcihcastmopryionships.
The Perth High School student had travelled to Ostend, a city on the Belgian coast, to compete with the Great Britain team.
Lining-up in the under-23 event, Rory placed 27th in a very strong field of riders from across the continent.
It proved to be a case of Dutch domination on the sand with Pim Ronhaar claiming victory in the U23 category.
