Historic spinning mill is gutted by blaze
One of Perthshire’s historic mills was gutted by fire at the weekend.
Firefighters were called to the huge blaze at Bramblebank Mill on the Rattray side of the River Ericht, near Blairgowrie, at around 9.30pm on Friday evening.
Emergency crews are understood to have battled the fire for several hours through the night.
The 19th century spinning mill operated for more than 100 years from 1833 before closing its doors in 1963.
