Staff at the Dewars Vaccination Centre in Perth have spoken of their pride at being involved in the lifesaving operation.
The PA was invited along for a look inside the centre to find out how the vaccine rollout was progressing.
And the excitement within the facility was palpable as residents lined up for their first dose.
Karen Gunn, clinic lead for the Dewars Centre operation, said: “I will be honest, I have been in the NHS a long time - about 26 years - and this is probably going to be the most important thing I will ever do in my career.
“I carry that with me every day.”
Also involved in the rollout is podiatrist Lindsay Davidson.
She told the PA: “It’s incredibly rewarding and I’m really privileged to be part of this team. I feel the more vaccines we get into arms, the sooner life gets back to normal for our families, ourselves and the NHS services.” PAGE 4
