Accused of sexual assault

A 22-year-old man has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Perth city centre street.

Ahmet Kahraman, of East High Street, Crieff, will face trial before a jury at Perth Sheriff Court on March 15.

It is alleged that on June 8, 2019, in South Street, he seized the female by the arms and moved her further into an alleyway there.

Kahraman is then said to have lifted her body from the ground and placed her legs around his body.

It is further claimed that he touched her private parts and buttocks and kissed her on the body.
