Murder charge man in court again
A 46-year-old man made a second appearance in private at Perth Sheriff Court this week, accused of murdering his wife.
John Lizanec, of Orchard Way,
Inchture, again made no plea and was fully committed for trial.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis rejected a motion for bail on his behalf.
It is alleged that on February 13, at his home, he assaulted 44-year-old Michelle Lizanec by striking her on the neck with a knife, or similar instrument, and murdered her.
Lizanec appeared via video link from Perth Prison and was represented by Perth lawyer David Holmes during the hearing on Wednesday afternoon.
