Davidson watches St Johnstone tear Motherwell apart last Saturday

This time, we are playing at Hampden Park, the national stadium.

The team received unbelievable backing from the Saints supporters that afternoon in May 2014.

As we all know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the current restrictions won’t allow for any supporters to be there on Sunday. That is a source of frustration for us all.

However, we all know the most important thing just now is to stay safe and healthy.

But we will feel your support on Sunday, trust me on that. We know you will all be in your own homes cheering us on, whether it’s in front of a television or a computer.

We want to make you all proud and we’ll try our very best to do so.

We want to bring the Betfred League Cup to McDiarmid Park for the first time.
