Perthshire firms join global travel event
Perthshire tourism businesses have been holding their own in a virtual global travel trading event for the industry organised by VisitScotland.
Tourism businesses from Perth and Kinross that have taken part include Scone Palace, Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier,Willowgate Activity Centre and the The Glenturret Distillery,
Also sharing their unique Scottish offering with global tour operators at Scotland Reconnect 2021 were Dun Aluin, Blairmore Farm and Estate Limited, Kinross House, Fisher’s House and Scotland’s Spa Hotel, BlueSky Experiences, The Old Manse of Blair, J&R Group, McIntosh Tours, Perthshire Tourism Group, Errichel, Land Rover Experience Scotland and Dunalastair Hotel Suites.
More than 280 Scottish businesses were virtually exhibiting at VisitScotland’s Scotland Reconnect 2021 which was run online from April 27-29. The aim was to attract visitors and help rebuild the country’s tourism industry following the hammer blow of the COVID-19 pandemic.

VisitScotland’s chairman, John Thurso closed Scotland Reconnect 2021 last night with a sign off from Ceilidh Connections and Radio Scotland Take to the Floor host, Gary Innes.
