Woman denies driving while drunk

A Perthshire woman has denied driving while unfit through drink or drugs.

Forty-nine-year-old Gillian Duncan, of Alexander Drive, Bridge of Earn, will stand trial at Perth Sheriff Court on September 15.

An earlier appearance was arranged for August 26.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on the A912, Gateside-Perth road, at Main Street, Bridge of Earn, on April 4, 2021.

Duncan is also accused of failing to wear a seat belt and then declining to provide a urine sample at Dundee Police HQ the same day.

Duncan was freed on bail meantime.
