Two new trustees join DofE team
Perth and Kinross Duke of edinburgh award association has welcomed two new trustees.
ex army officer Paul rennie-Smith and Pr consultant elaine howie have both joined the team, which is based at the award Office in Kincarrathie house Drive, Perth.
Paul’s last role was as the commanding officer of 32 Signal regiment, based in Glasgow. he left the military in 2014, and since then has worked for a numberoforganisations. heiscurrentlya programme director with Fujitsu.
he said:“I am really looking forward to working with the board and being able to contribute towards the objectives of the organisation and making a difference for the young people that we work with.”
elaine howie previously worked in Perth at United Distillers UK at Cherrybank and has provided Pr and communications support for some of the UK’s leading corporate and luxury brands.
She said:“having enjoyed such a wide and varied career personally, including working with some third sector organisations, I look forward to sharing my experience and to working with the association.
“The dedicated team work tirelessly to deliver the programmes and the fantastic feedback from the young people they work with is a tremendous endorsementoftheworktheydo. Iamlooking forward to helping them continue to achieve such good things post-lockdown.”
The association has been delivering unique learning experiences to young people for many years at locations throughout Perth and Kinross including Megginch Castle estate, Dupplin estate and the GannochyTrust.
