Four people were arrested for drunk driving across Perth and Kinross over a period of five days last week, three of whom were arrested after being involved in a road traffic collision, police have said.

Local teams revealed this week that a 27-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle in Churchill Road in Kinross on Wednesday, October 27.

Two days later police arrested a 60-yearold woman for drink driving after a one vehicle road traffic collision occurred near Caputh.

Police then arrested a further two people for drink driving on Sunday, October 31, one a 47-year-old man after another single vehicle collision on the A90 near Kinfauns and the other a 36-year-old after a third one vehicle collision on the A85 near Crieff.

Officers confirmed in a statement issued this week three of the drivers arrested over the five day period had later been found to have been driving with no insurance and one had also been driving without a licence.
