It’s a setting like no OTHER Fantastic festival line-up announceme­nt ahead of inaugural summer music extravagan­za at A-listed Scone Palace

Over 40 more additions have been made to the inaugural line-up of the Otherlands Music and Arts Festival at Scone Palace.

The debut edition of the unique camping festival will welcome fans to the home of Scotland’s kings and queens on August 19-21 for three days of cuttingedg­e music and art, boutique glamping, sensory brunches and bespoke talks from industry leaders.

The festival announced its first round of acts including Bicep, Jamie XX and Tom Misch last month.

Joining the live acts already announced are: Maverick Sabre; Kojaque, Priestgate; HYYTS; VLURE and Kaputt; Perth pop sixpiece Parliamo; and Dundee’s Theo Bleak. From Scotland’s undergroun­d hip hop scene, Aberdeen’s Chef and Edinburgh’s Billy Got Waves have been announced.

Berlin-based DJ Dream_E and Aberdeen DJ and production duo testpress will be providing DJ sets.

Organisers have shared details on the first of their official stage partners, welcoming many cultural institutio­ns to curate a programme of live and electronic artists across the weekend.

At the helm of the Otherlands dance arena is the world-famous Sub Club, boasting a line-up packed with the best in cutting edge electronic music, from internatio­nal heavyweigh­ts to emerging local talent.

The line-up for this stage includes: Folamour; Elkka (live); Ricardo Villalobos; Craig Richards, B2B with Nicolas Lutz; Roman Flugel; Honey Dijon; Chaos In The CBD; DJ Seinfield and TSHA.

Sherelle will also be bringing her energy to the stage, alongside Junior, Yung Singh; Harri and Dom; Eclair Fifi; Magic City; Telford and Stevie Cox; Butho The Warrior, B2B with Optimistic Soul.

Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s will be curating their own live stage championin­g the best in up and coming talent.

One of the city’s most-loved live venues, Sneaky Pete’s has provided a platform for artists such as Tame Impala, Future Islands, Young Fathers and Lewis Capaldi who all began their musical careers there.

BBC Introducin­g will be gathering some of the best in Scotland’s unsigned talent for a stage boasting punk, electronic, rap and beyond. Connecting internatio­nal club culture with the world since 2010, Boiler Room will be hosting their very own stage, making Otherlands their first camping festival broadcast in the channel’s history.

Official club partners have also been announced today, including: Jaime; Le Freak and Friends; Mi Casa; Progressiv­e; Voyage; All Good; Céleste; Dannsa; Night Tube; Pure Honey; Rare; Alien Communicat­ions; DBT; Picnic Records; and Selextorho­od.
