Cinema celebrating tenth anniversary
A red carpet event is planned to mark 10 years since cinema returned to Aberfeldy.
It was April 2013 when, after years of fundraising and planning, a rebuilt and redesigned The Birks Cinema opened its doors.
After a huge community regeneration campaign, the opening was big news.
Actor Alan Cumming sent a message from filming in LA, MSP John Swinney sat in the plush red seats wearing 3D glasses and local storyteller Claire Hewitt entertained.

The cinema is holding a party with an exclusive screening of British action comedy film Polite Society. Included in the ticket price are drinks, canapes and music.
Claire Hewitt is back, performing live harp music, and Jo Calder will be on double bass. Several other musicians are still to be confirmed.
The celebration will help mark a successful decade of community engagement and special filmic moments beamed direct to Highland Perthshire.
