Event: Perth Beer Festival organised by Perthshire Rugby returns to the North Inch this May. Friday 5 will be a comedy night with local farmer Jim Smith. Music: March into Pitlochry Festival, dubbed ‘the biggest little festival in Scotland’, for 2023 former Apollo 440 frontman, Ewan Macfarlane, tops the bill. Ewan will play a Friday acoustic set, promoting new album ‘Dove’ before returning with his band on Saturday evening. Glasgow rootsy rockers The Strange Blue Dreams (10.30pm Friday), Edinburgh’s Dropkick and the Hebridean outfit, The Tumbling Souls, will all grace the function suite at Mckays Hotel Bar and Restaurant over the weekend.
