A railway crossing between Perth and Dundee was closed for a period over the weekend due to safety concerns.
Network Rail carried out repairs at the intersection located south of Inchture on the road towards Errol.
It is understood Network Rail was alerted on Friday night with the repairs believed to have been carried out on a damaged barrier.
The level crossing initially remained open with trains passing through at a reduced speed.
But repairs went into the night on Friday and led to the crossing being closed.
Motorists and public transport faced disruption as a result with temporary diversions put in place.
At around lunch time on Saturday Network Rail confirmed the issue had been resolved and that the level crossing had reopened to traffic.
