Five lambs in a Perthshire wildlife park have been given woolly jumpers to help them keep warm this winter.
The lambs – aged between one and two weeks old – are looking colourful and cosy at Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, near Comrie.
The animals were welcomed to the park by sheep dog Benny who likes to take on a parental role when there are new arrivals.
He sits with the lambs all night and comforts them until they are used to their new surroundings.
Visitors to the park can also feed the lambs from a bottle, with three different feeding sessions on offer throughout the day.
Bookings are available on a first come first served basis.
The park welcomed the UK’S newest flock of flamingos last summer when 46 Chilean flamingos arrived from Cumbria Zoo in the Lake District.
Managing director, Alexa Reid said: “We are incredibly excited to be the new home of the UK’S largest flamboyance of flamingos.
“Since arriving at the wildlife park last year, we’ve been gradually making improvements to the park and are now at an exciting phase where new projects are coming to life.
“The arrival of the flamingos shows our intent to become one of the best wildlife parks in the country and we’re calling on the local community to come and get behind us as we try to achieve something that the whole of Perth and Kinross can be proud of.”
The 150-acre park, includes a zoo with 40 different species of animals, nature trails, outdoor and indoor play parks and its own farm.
They are currently fundraising to repair their fence after it was targeted by vandals and hand-reared stag, Harris, vanished.
There were fears the gentle giant had been let out on purpose and lured away.
Park bosses urged local hunters not to shoot the tame stag, a magnificent beast with 14-point antlers.
Despite extensive searches he has not been traced.
