LIGHTROOM MOBILE

Many serious photographers will recognize the Lightroom name from using the desktop version to edit their photography.

But now Lightroom offers a mobile app and works much in the same way as the desktop version. It helps you sync photos on your phone with any collection on your computer, as well as downloading for offline viewing.

When you make adjustments on Lightroom CC, it automatically adjusts on your Lightroom mobile app which can be great for showing off your portfolio while you are on the move.

Furthermore, Lightroom Mobile does not require much storage space on your smartphone. This is because it uses smart previews which are a compressed preview of your image which are only a fraction of the size of normal JPEG images.

Just like the desktop version, it allows you to assign flags or ratings to images. This is incredibly useful when sorting through a shoot to pick your best images to edit and share later.

You can also perform light edits in the app such as cropping, presets, and adding vignettes. But my favorite part of the app is the availability to create online galleries to share with a quick link generated by the lightroom mobile app itself.

This is a great app to download if you are already using Lightroom CC and want to take your images with you on the go.
