Pick Me Up! Special - - News - Olivia, Doncaster

For eight years, I’ve been having an affair with a married man. He’s sworn he’ll leave his wife when his kids are older, but I could be waiting another eight years. He’s the love of my life – shall I just be patient?

YES Pick Me Up! reader Kat from Inverness says:

What if this man is really The One? I think he’s being really considerate not walking away from his family while the kids are young. You went into this knowing he wasn’t available right now and if you trust that one day your time will come, then it’s worth the wait. True love is hard to find, so be patient and don’t give up.

NO Pick Me Up! reader Melanie from York says:

Sorry, but he’s playing you like a fool. This suits him perfectly, you always there when he wants, and with the promise of a ‘future together’, he knows you’ll stick around. Your life is passing you by while you wait for a man who doesn’t deserve you. People divorce whatever age their kids are. He clearly doesn’t want to be with you.

Will I have a future with him?
