An £8.1 million hospital designed to treat camels – and only camels – has opened in Dubai. With an operating theatre and an X-ray room, local vets say it’s a one of a kind facility providing state of the art treatment for the desert animal. ‘We have to care for camels, not only by breeding them, but by being able to medically treat them,’ said the hospital’s director.
