BLISTS HILL VICTORIAN TOWN
Travel back over 100 years to experience the sights, sounds, and even smells of a traditional Victorian Christmas. On 8 to 9 and 15 to 16 December, the Blists Hill Victorian Town in Ironbridge, Shropshire, comes to life, bringing with it the true magic of Christmas. Watch the Victorian townsfolk as they make Christmas preparations, meet Father Christmas and his reindeer and enjoy some festive food and drink in the café and New Inn. Explore the traditionally decorated streets before stepping inside cosy cottages to sing along with brass bands and carol singers. A visit to Victorian Town is also a great excuse to visit the local shops, where you’ll find unusual Christmas gifts from the Victorian era.
