NICE CARNIVAL

This world-famous carnival, from 16 to 28 February, takes place day and night on the city’s Place Masséna and around the Jardin Albert. Lasting 90 minutes, the colourful parade features 18 burlesque floats and over 1,000 musicians and dancers, working its way up to a crescendo of gigantic celebrations with three leading floats: the King’s, the Queen’s, and Carnivalon’s – their son. So if you’re planning a trip to the French Riviera, this carnival is certainly not to be missed.
