AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVAL

If you’re visiting the Netherlands after Christmas, don’t miss the Amsterdam Light Festival. Until 20 January, wander around the city to explore the nearly 40 large-scale light installations that dot the city’s already scenic canals. Take a walk along the Illuminade, a free 90-minute walking tour, and be amazed by the stunning, locally-made light sculptures. The whole event is open air, so is free for everyone, and is the perfect opportunity to take impressive photos!
