Winter woes
Q My two boys suffer terribly with eczema and it seems to get worse in the winter. How can I help them? Emma, London A To prevent flare-ups with sensitive skin in winter, moisturise, moisturise, moisturise! Prevention is always the best method when it comes to skin sensitivity. Ensure you use creams instead of lotions, as the former is more hydrating for the skin. The more natural the ingredients the better, especially if you suffer from sensitive skin. Remember to pay particular attention to exposed sites, such as the face, lips and hands. And always remember to cover up with gloves and a hat! Childs Farm’s moisturisers are full of naturally derived ingredients such as shea and cocoa butter, and are mild enough to use on eczemaprone skin.
