TRAVEL THROUGH THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE
The Trent & Mersey canal was the country’s first ever long-distance canal. It is full of interesting features, which reflect its history. Cruise for two hours through two locks, including the Trent Lock, to reach the historic market town of Rugeley. The journey passes through the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Anderton Boat Lift and the popular Wolseley Arms pub at Wolseley Bridge.
